Arabic subtitles — The Guard (2011)

Storyline — The Guard (2011)

Released: 2011-07-07

Two policemen must join forces to take on an international drug- smuggling gang - one, an unorthodox Irish policeman and the other, a straitlaced FBI agent. Sergeant Gerry Boyle is an eccentric small-town cop with a confrontational and crass personality and a subversive sense of humor. A longtime policeman in County Galway, Boyle is a maverick with his own moral code. He has seen enough of the world to know there isn't much to it and has had plenty of time to think about it. When a fellow police officer disappears and Boyle's small town becomes key to a large drug trafficking investigation, he is forced to at least feign interest when dealing with the humorless FBI agent Wendell Everett assigned to the case.

Frequently asked questions

How many Arabic subtitles are there for The Guard?

SubDL has 5 Arabic subtitles for The Guard, contributed by 5 different members of the community. Each one is a separate file timed to a particular video release, so pick the entry whose release name is closest to your copy.

Which Arabic subtitle should I pick for The Guard?

Match the release name to your video file. The Arabic files here cover releases such as TheGuard20111080pBluRayDTSx264-DON, The Guard 2011 720p BRRip [A Release-Lounge H264], The Guard 2011 (1080p x265 10bit Tigole). If none matches exactly, choose the one with the same source (WEB-DL, BluRay, HDTV) and resolution — those usually share the same timing.

How do I add Arabic subtitles to The Guard?

Download the .srt and put it next to the video file with the same name, and most players load it automatically. In VLC use Subtitle - Add Subtitle File, in Plex and Jellyfin upload it from the item's subtitle menu, and in Stremio pick it from the subtitle button during playback.

My Arabic subtitle for The Guard is out of sync — how do I fix it?

A constant offset means the subtitle was timed to a different release: shift it with G and H in VLC, or J and K in MPV, until the first line matches. If the drift grows through the film, the frame rate differs and a file from the same release group is the better fix.

Are hearing-impaired (SDH) Arabic subtitles available for The Guard?

Yes. Some of the Arabic files here are marked HI (3 of 5), which means they also transcribe sound effects and identify who is speaking. The label shows in the list, so you can choose between an SDH file and a plain dialogue one.

Do I need an account to download Arabic subtitles?

No. Searching and downloading are free and need no account, and there is no daily download limit on ordinary use. An account is only needed to upload subtitles, use the API, or subscribe to a Pro plan.
