- She's gonna get divorced in December
and the baby'll be born in January.
The most challenging part is, until she's off parole,
we can't live together.
That must be difficult.
Y'all think the baby's mine?
Red, yes; blue, no. Honestly.
- 99.9% and it's Ken is the father.
It's the Louisiana law that whatever last name
was your legal last name
is what the baby's gonna be born with.
Well, that (bleep) sucks.
She can be born a Blanchard,
but Ryan has to sign a consent form
on delivery day in person.
- I hate that I was put in this situation.
- A birth certificate doesn't make a daddy, anyway.
- She says one thing on social media
and then texts me something completely different.
- She used to. - I don't know about that.
- 10 centimeters dilated and it's go time.
We're gonna be parents.
- This all just feels like, so surreal right now.
Like, I don't even know how to feel right now.
I did not sleep.
- You didn't sleep? - I did not sleep.
I was like, trying to be awake.
Ooh.
You're free.
- I'm free. Whew, this car is going really fast.
Oh, there she is.
Oh, goodness.
- I didn't count the pushes, but she came right out.
She came right out and she's perfectly sized.
She's got a beautiful head of black hair.
Wow!
- She doesn't have to go to the...
NICU.
- The NICU or the incubator, so.
- Awesome. - Well, congratulations.
- Congratulations, daddy. Did you cry?
- Congratulations, grandma. Oh, I bawled, I bawled.
- Did you cut the cord. - I did cut the cord.
- Nice. - Oh, good.
You guys should be able
to come in if you want to in a few minutes.
All right, see y'all in a little bit.
- Okay. Thank you. - Bye, dad.
Come on over here.
Good.
We're parents now.
She's so precious.
Aurora was born on December 28th,
which is the one year anniversary of Gypsy's release.
So it's just making it
an even more significant day in our life, for sure.
She was 6.5, 19 inches.
- Yep. - So my mom was right
on the inches, so she was right on that too.
I love her. We're gonna love her to death.
Can't wait to go home and spend some time with her
and just be part of that nurturing
and everything that you get with a newborn.
- Yeah, little mamma. - See you.
This is her liberation day too.
Right.
- Yeah, one year ago today you were free,
and now she's free.
I can't explain it.
It's a once in a lifetime feeling,
I think, when you hold your firstborn child.
It's amazing.
It's like every other issue doesn't even exist
really in that moment.
- What am I holding? - The microphone.
There we go. There you go.
Hey, baby boo.
Aww.
How do I look?
You look like a dad.
You look like proud papa.
She's so precious.
The first night went great.
We both slept pretty good.
Second night was a little rough
because she was fussy, but it was great.
Through this whole process,
I think I've been pretty calm.
- Yeah, I think so. I am the calm one.
- Okay. - I have my moments.
- I'll let you have this moment.
- If Ryan had come to the hospital,
he could've signed the paternity test stuff.
But his mother had expressed to me
that that would be like, too emotionally hard on him.
So on her birth certificate,
she is listed as Aurora Raina Anderson
and Ryan is listed as the father, currently.
I've accepted it,
but it's something that we still need to figure out.
It's okay, baby girl.
I know, precious, I know.
All right, we gonna take a baby home or what?
Yes.
- I feel like I'm gonna break her or something.
We are on our way now.
- I don't know about you, but does it feel like every day
from now going forward is like an unknown?
- It's terrifying and exciting at the same time.
- So how long do you think we can keep it on the down low?
- I feel like we should just announce.
I mean, I wanna have peace.
So like, personally, I wouldn't say anything.
- Like everything else that happens in your life,
the word of mouth will spread.
- Yeah. - So it's like,
we either get in front of it
or we wait for the overwhelming amount of questions.
You know? I don't know.
He's doing good.
What is it?
- Somebody DM'd me that they saw us.
Somebody took pictures of me
in the parking lot of the hospital
with the car seat when I came around to...
So it's out, or it will be out very soon.
I wanna protect Aurora from as much nonsense as I can.
Like the gossip and rumors don't affect me as much anymore,
but I don't want them to affect my daughter's life.
- Another thing y'all need to be prepared for
is the dates, with the baby coming so early.
Which is why I wanted to wait.
Because I mean--
- Yeah, it's-- - I feel like,
they're gonna be like it's Ryan's baby
and until they're--
- They're definitely gonna be saying that.
They're gonna be saying, "We told you."
She was born on the 28th.
She was due on the 22nd of January.
But she, you know, came a little bit early.
Gypsy started dilating a little bit early.
She was born totally healthy and normal,
and within all the right ranges.
It's already been proven
that this is my child. - 100%, 100%.
So people are gonna say
it's Ryan's baby 10 years from now,
it's not gonna matter.
These people don't care about (bleep) facts,
and logic, and reason.
They care about their drama,
and their gossip, and their (bleep).
- I'm just saying to be prepared for the backlash of--
I get backlash constantly.
I feel like I'm the only one that's accepted that reality.
That the backlash will never end.
It's going to be a lifelong experience at this point.
- That's just so disgusting to me that...
It's a cruel world we live in.
I mean, I don't know what else to say.
- Can turn the birth of a beautiful baby
- Can turn the birth of a beautiful baby
into something scandalous and ugly.
- I don't feel a need to gloat or be like, "I had my baby!"
Like that is, I don't care.
And I don't know why you do.
- I just would just think that it'd be nice for us
to announce our news,
instead of others to announce it for us.
Hey!
Look, Aurora.
How was the doctor?
She passed with flying colors.
You made an A?
Aurora, Grace meet Aurora Raina.
- So Aurora had our first checkup today
and while we were in town, we decided to pop in to Cut Off
and see Rod and Kristy for New Year's Eve.
- She's so perfect. How much she's weighing?
- She's a little over five pounds.
- This is obviously very different from last year.
