The first 198 lines.
That felt like a gold-medal performance.
That was just everything for me.
This is the craziest thing I've ever seen in my life.
Wow!
You were just hot, crazy, sexy, cool.
That is unbelievable.
It's the best act we've seen this year.
Hey! Hey!
Ayy!
That was actually brilliant.
I love you.
Ah!
Damn, I wish we had some Golden Buzzers left.
My dog Lucy sheds everywhere.
I'm always covered in Lucy-fur.
He's the best.
Welcome to the gallery of talent.
Oh, my gosh, we've said yes to a lot of people.
A lot.
There are 44 spots in the live show.
It's going to be a difficult day.
I can make it a definite yes.
I didn't like it.
He could win.
I agree.
I love him.
No.
You guys, we don't agree?
So there are a few we have to see again.
It's come down to this.
Audience, are you ready for some talent tonight?
Hey, hey, everybody, let's do it!
Let's do it.
How are you? Nice to meet you.
- ... - You good?
How are you?
Look how excited she is.
She got her picture with Sofía.
I've been standing here for 20 minutes.
Can you see her?
Is she looking like she's trying to get a picture?
She's not looking at you at all.
Yeah, yeah, yeah!
Today is the last day of auditions
for this season of "AGT."
Last week, we used our last Golden Buzzer.
No Golden Buzzers left, but still plenty of talent.
Let's go!
It's talent time!
Here we go!
OK, here we go.
Where is he?
Howie!
What about me?
Oh.
No!
Goodbye!
Why would you buzz me?
Bring him back!
Bring me back!
Bring me back!
Tell him to come back.
They want you back.
Go back.
Oh, my god.
Howie! Howie!
Howie! Howie! Howie!
Which one?
Me or him?
It's good to be here.
My name is Howard Michael Mandel.
Hello.
I'm 70, and I'm from Canada.
OK.
My first question is, why?
I love comedy.
Yeah?
This is disturbing.
OK, Howie, do you think you're funny?
Do I think-- do I think I'm funny?
Yeah.
Uh, I think a 50-year career would say,
yes, I think I'm funny.
OK.
OK.
Well, good luck.
Here we go.
All right.
Here I go.
Here we go.
You know, me and the other judges,
we have to sit through some pretty cringey acts.
I don't know "How-wee" do it.
"How-wee" do it?
Oh.
For lunch today, I couldn't decide if I wanted a pickle
with my sandwich or not.
I was like, "dill" or no "dill"?
Dill or no dill?
I have a comedy album out.
It's on three different formats.
You can stream it.
It's on vinyl.
And what's the other one?
Oh, CD.
OCD!
I love me.
If I was on a farm, I'd be Cowie Mandel.
I didn't do that.
I didn't do that.
This is brutal.
That was not funny.
Did anybody laugh?
I mean, we've had so many amazing contestants
this season.
You don't have to justify yourself for it being that bad.
OK, it was, yeah.
Where this goes, I have no idea.
I think we're just going to go straight
to the yes or the no here.
Mel?
- No. - No.
I'm saying no.
That's fair.
Good night.
I love you.
- Adios! - I love this guy.
I love you.
I gave it a shot.
Yes.
And they said no pretty quickly.
Yeah, thank you.
I'm Howie Mandel.
Yep, yep.
I know.
I am.
I'm the best.
I'm the best!
Whoo!
Oh!
Oh, my god.
That was actually brilliant.
Hey!
I think America's going to fall in love with you.
I am not doing this for the money.
I'm doing it for the ap-paws!
I think you're the same guy that came on as Howie.
Thousands of acts have auditioned,
and now it comes down to this.
There are a number of acts who are no-brainers.
And then it gets interesting.
It's cool to see all the stuff that you've
seen growing up on TV and--
Yeah.
And where are you guys from?
- Michigan, originally. - Oh, Michigan?
Yeah.
I'm born and raised, man.
Fellow Michiganders in the house.
- You know it. - You know it, man.
Oh, man, pleasure, brother. It's a pleasure.
Our earliest memories of music, Dad
had a 2001 pickup truck, and we would
go around and listen to Diamond Rio and Ricky Skaggs.
They were as young as 2 and 3 years old
putting on concerts in the living room with a banjo
that we had.
Oh, OK. - Say thank you.
There was nothing safe in our house.
He had two wooden spoons, and he beat every piece
of furniture we had.
Those were my drumsticks.
Oh, it was the best.
We've always wanted to make records like the ones
that we fell in love with when we were kids.
That's what we want to do.
And hopefully "America's Got Talent" makes that happen.
All right, The Sound, the family.
Go out there and make it happen.
It's time. It's time.
I love you guys.
Hi, there.
Welcome to "America's Got Talent."
Thank you.
What's your name and where are you guys from?
We're called The Sound, and we're originally
from Romeo, Michigan.
- Yeah. - All right.
Yeah.
How long have you been together as this three-piece?
So we're actually a family.
This is my brother Jacob.
My name is Levi, and this is our dad, Rob.
- No way! - Yeah.
So I'm guessing you've been playing together as a family
since you were, what, knee-high?
Since we were very small, yeah.
And I'm guessing it's a certain genre of music.
