A corrections spokesperson confirmed

that two prisoners escaped via a prison industry's workshop

established by Regional Manager, Derek Channing,

who has been unavailable for comment since the incident.

Sources say Doyle and Ferguson would've needed

staff assistance to orchestrate such an escape.

The prison remains in lockdown,

as investigators question staff and inmates to establish

if the two has assistance and what their plans were on the outside.
