We're gonna hear some really wonderful music, right Rex?

Ahem. Thermaticly speaking, will be looking at Christmas

carols as they relate to specific traditions...

Yeah, songs about Christmas trees and stacks of gifts.

Reindeer and jingling bells. Holiday ballets, Santa Claus,

universal joy and Christmas snacks.

There is not a carol about snacks.

First up is that beautiful and haunting American classic,

"We Three Kings."

Composed around eighteen... fifty... seven...

But your making a lyrical error

in that fine old Christmas carol.

Now the key word my good fellows is wassailing.

Not waffleing.

Well uh, what the heck is wassailing?
