And then we're also pending any investigative information.

Has he been picked up for drug-running or--

-Okay. -Maybe human-smuggling.

If he'd just gotten deported, that's important too,

'cause he's just trying to come back.

I really feel like we're gonna find him.

Thousands of migrants, mostly from Honduras,

are stopped at the Guatemala-Mexico border.

A planned 2,800-mile trek through Central America, Mexico,

eventually hoping to reach the U.S. border.

The nation's top border official says

the migrant crisis has reached a breaking point.

The Pentagon is ordering an additional

3,700 active duty military members

down to the U.S.-Mexico border.

The cartel and crime gangs are focused on getting people

to the United States.

It's a battle, by and large, the smugglers are winning.

Yesterday, in one 24-hour period,

we had over 4,800 people cross our border.

We got something, traffic coming in

through the...Eastside fence?

I got another one over there.

David, there's some foot traffic up here.

Yeah, I saw three different footprints.

They-- they were going northeast.

McAllen's the closest point from Central America

to the United States-Mexico border.

The only thing that separates the U.S. from Mexico

is that winding river.

So if you live down here in South Texas long enough,

you're gonna come across some sort of

human smuggling.

It's an inevitable.

We're trying to bust a human smuggling organization

here in McAllen.

It's my first big case, and after weeks of getting nowhere,

we've arrested a low-level driver.

We're trying to flip him to find out

who's running this organization.

Hey, so we've identified one of the guys--

or really, the top guy, and it's not Paco.

Who is it?

This guy goes by a bunch of aliases,

but what we're-- what we know him by right now

-is "Express." -Okay, good.

We know Paco now to be the caretaker

and Express is the one who's calling the shots.

Ah, yeah.

I know we'll be able to pull an ID on this guy.
